Looking for the opportunity to hunt whitetail and wild turkey? Family Outfitters of Coshocton, Ohio is located in the heart of prime whitetail and wild turkey country. Coshocton County is one of the top deer harvesting counties in Ohio. This area is also well known for the Eastern Wild Turkey population.

We offer semi-guided whitetail and wild turkey hunts. Our hunting areas are 50% woodland and 50% agricultural consisting of corn, beans, wheat, and hay. This provides the whitetail with a plentiful, high-protein food source to develop good quality antlers. It is not unusual to harvest whitetail from this area that score from the 120 to 180 class.

It is common to see flocks of wild turkey with 30-40 birds during the fall and winter. Mature gobblers are plentiful in this area.

You will arrive at a preset time the day before your hunt begins. Our guides will introduce you to your hunting area, and assist you in getting set up for a successful and enjoyable hunt! All of are hunts are fair chase, no enclosures. Our hunting areas are located on private farmlands within a five mile radius of the lodge.

Our newly remodeled lodge accommodates up to six hunters at a time.  You will have access to all the comforts of home. Our lodge is conveniently located near the Woodbury Wildlife Area which offers fishing areas. The Woodbury Shooting Range is within two miles and has a complete rifle and archery range.
